Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA's)

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCAs) play a crucial role in ensuring participants receive the appropriate level of support and funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). FCA’s will be conducted by a social worker at the request of participants, family members, advocates, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), or other involved parties within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework. These evaluations serve as collaborative efforts, aimed at comprehensively assessing individuals' functional abilities and limitations to inform the development of tailored support plans and funding allocations that best meet their needs and aspirations to live fulfilling lives.
